Amy Smart has been a model, actress and former American. Her modelling career began in Italy, in which she was born and raised, before being was born in California. Her first role as an actor was in 1996's TV production Her Costly Affair. It took a long time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller role. It was at first was difficult for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. This is because most models aren't good actors. In the majority of cases, they're only given small, insignificant parts. However, Amy was determined to keep going and stepped into more prestigious roles. It all started with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy then stepped into main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous by the industry for her performance throughout the previous decade. Amy was in several big movies in the Crank trilogy opposite Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character in The Shameless series.
